Tarot is about connection, clarity and inspiration.

You may be asking yourself, how does one begin reading tarot?

The answer is simple, we just start.

My first deck was a gift from a dear friend who always knew I was curious about the mystical world. It was a mini Rider-Waite deck with a simple one sentence description of each card. At first, tarot intimidated me and so my progress was slow. Flash forward to a global pandemic, and tons of free time outside of my 9-5, I spent every night connecting with my deck and learning more about these cards.

Over the next few months, I purchased a full size Rider-Waite deck (which you’ll still see me using to this day). I “introduced” myself to that deck and created a rather strong bond with those cards. During this time, I had kept my tarot journey private but on Halloween night I decided to share my readings with friends over a few cocktails - and thus my true adventure began.

Tarot became a part of daily life for me. A way to find clarity as I navigated some of the most stressful times of my life. Those around me encouraged me to pursue more and so I put tarot on my vision board. Thus, in February 2023, The Secret Card Society was born on instagram.

Since that time, I’ve partnered with countless Ohio businesses, to host a variety of events for thousands of people. The community I’ve found has been more than I ever could have dreamed and one thing remains true, I am enjoying my journey.
